So, to prevent this, Apple waterproofed some parts of the circuits and etc to be somewhat more more resistant to water.
I bet it was a waterproof video camera and not an iPhone just to get attention.
Or to get others to drop their iPhone in water to test it out.
Pulled it out...couldn't get it to work...
Wrapped it very well in towels...tossed it in a full drier load and dried it on low.
Now it works except for the wifi (which works if you are right on the access point) and the sleep button on the top only works sometimes.
At least it works though!

- See, first of all, what was he thinking taking the phone to the pool. Anyone that's recording video with whatever they have that's not waterproof deserves to have their stuff dropped into the water. Teach them a lesson not to bring their phone near the pool.
