I't a very nice design, the small collapsable lens are especially nice, but not the home run I was hoping for.

- Come on - the article does not mention that the camera has a large sensor - supports external flash, etc.

- Basically this is a revolutionary camera as far as digital compacts are concerned - high quality sensor in a small camera with interchangeable lenses. That's a winner.

- It's not that revolutionary. Panasonic introduced the first Micro 4/3 camera first with the G1. The Olympus may be smaller than the Panasonic, but it also has a flash built-in and a high resolution swivel screen. It too supports multiple accessories.

- Own Nikon DSLRs - so I don't own an Olympus camera so not an Oly fanboy :-). But the small size particularly paired with the 17mm f/2.8 (equiv 35mm) is a clincher in my opinion & that's what's revolutionary. The Panasonic G1 is probably not much smaller than an Olympus E420 or Nikon D40 - not held the Panasonic in my hands so not sure.
