Ya Sony will Lose Billions this year ! Mostly on their toys like the PS3 ! If MS could sell Halo to the PS3 , I Really think they would ! Sony should realize everything NET FLIX ! People want the Disk-less super quite hard drive only system ! Send it 2 me and I'll pay, is were the gaming system is going ! Which is 2Bad for the Hard~core gamer , good for Grandmas and 9 year olds alike ! The cool kids all say gaming is getting MORE HANDY (Red Faction ) CAPPED all the TIME ! Hopefully for us all , SONY learns 2 share ! This would help all the game Developers have a shot at making a living !

The New 360 needs to be rough tough and as dangerous as the old one. I want to be able throw my new 360 down the stairs and then plug it in with no RED RINGS!!!! I think thats microsofts main priority.

You know what would be nice?
An education for these sorry bastards commenting here.

Man can any of you spell? I'm looking at all your comments and I really can see how old you all probably are.

Either way, I don't think it is that loud anymore, and if you are still complaining about how loud it is now, that means you have an old model 360, which also means you did a good job keeping it functional all this time. I got a 360 elite when it came out, must say it is still working even now, it is much more quiet than my previous 360 which was the pro. The most you will get with a newer model 360 would be a slightly more efficient, reliable, and performance tweaked console.

i think it should be call XBOX 720.
It's a whole new system so you could keep xbox but a new number as in 720 to make it fresh.

i think the best way x box can come up, even if its the best system around well most sold .they should fix the rrod problem . the sony ps3 has a lower percentage of breaking than the xbox .the ps3 has the potential to be better then the xbox. its still not that great.i had a ps3 for 2 years and broke right when i bought the resident evil 5 special edition . if x box comes with a new consle then it should be slimer a wont get rrod like the previous xbox

This is simple guys. Now that PS3 slim is coming out and dropping Lynix and backwards comp, it's time to strike. If Xbox can market a slightly more powerfull and signifigantly more reliable system, there's only one thing left keeping PS3 alive. That's Blue Ray. If this new system incorperates Blue Ray, it will be sionora for PS3! Bill gates may not want to admit his defeat with BR vs HD but he's no idiot. A simple upgrade to better and now cheaper processors with a better heat sink and better cooling would be a big plus. Let's face it. There realy is no need for an extreem upgrade in the grafix department anymore. Most good 360 games are already stunning to say the least. This new system could up the anti slightly for hard core gamers (With newer and now less expensive prossesors), add BR, and add the Wii copy. Think about it. This system would take over the PS3 for shure, take over a significant portion of the Wii sales, and reasure all the hard core gamers at the same time. It's a no brainer if you ask me.

Now, with all that said, if MS dosen't include BR. They are being just plain stubborn and quite frankly stupid.

PS: We cant spell because spell checker has killed our spelling skills. It's not age, and your not our English teacher so stay on topic. :)

@just about everyone who commented this page

you guys have to be 24/7 gamers, or just have no life, (same thing), to be arguing about something like this.

I mean, if people like MS, they like MS, if like Sony, they like Sony, both are great technology/gaming companies. For example, Microsoft: for all of you people whose typed this review, how many of you MS dissing idiots not realized that your more than likely using Windows, made by MS, to run your browser to type it.

And for Sony dissing people, how many of you are watching TV on a Sony tv. Or calling people on a Sony Erricson, or Typing on a Sony VAIO? or taking pictures on a Sony Camera?

God, ALMOST all you people are idiots.

You must not realize it, but these people are here, and they are here to stay. You wont kill the "fanboy" because the fanboy can not die. End your search on comment pages for people who look easy to harass. Because you did nothing to influence the decision of these people when it comes to what they feel is important. Your comment is a waste of space, like your inability to spot the future of this world.

You can't forget that nitendo is probably working on a new system also. The graphics of the wii didn't really impress me and a lot of other people. I think if nintendo just makes better graphics and some improvements to online play, as well as a way to access your media, it will dominate all other systems.

Unless the 360 includes a Blu-Ray drive the future might turn to the PS3. It seems alot of game companies favor the blu-ray since the games are bigger and will not fit on 1 dvd but will need 3 and that messes up the game play alot. Now that sony woke up and hired American programers to rethink its games for American users, they are going to add alot more DLC content and to make more detailed games. Programers are also puting alot of training into the PS3 because of the better blu-ray content.
So unless Microsoft wakes up with blu-ray use they may begin to be history no matter what they do.

@EVERYONE. M$,nor Sony cares who has the better system or the best games. They care who they can convert. This is NOT a gamer war. This is a Branding war. The motto is "get them young, and get them often". If they can lure you in with the gaming console, they will show you what you like, GUI, Interface, etc. Neither company cares about the gaming console, they are trying to get in your house and make you loyal.

I just want my 360 to have a windows browser since it is microsoft. Oh and maybe make the xbox vision be worth having cuz that was a waste of $4 (kmart made a mistake with its clearence price). That cam was selling for $39. What a waste. With PS3s cam u can actually do cool ****. So microsoft needs better ideas than coming out with scams and screwing poor parents over. Greedy bastards!

ok before they go and make a new xbox they need to fix all the old ones. i bought a elite 360 and thought oh i was good no red ring lots of harddrive i'm in the clear. well i have had it for over a year now and it is starting to mess up not wanting to read the disk having to wait for it to warm up befoer it can read the disk and the noise omg everyone put some head phones over when you come over. listen microsoft stop trying to beat wii and playstation and just think about the people that have already went and spent a ton of money getting their xboxs fixed. instead of coming out with a new xbox come out with some new hardwear that you can just install or some **** like that. well i have said my peace fix the 360 people.....

Gonna keep this short. Or at least try to. Look at this from a marketing standpoint. Wii was made for family entertainment. Obviously. Now let's look at the opposite side of the spectrum. Ps3 seems to be geared towards hardcore gamers. And the 360 looks to offer the best of both worlds. And price is no longer an issue for ps3 anymore.
