In proper fashion, Apple's online retail store is down on the day of the big event (Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference). Commence the rumor mongering.

The store was unavailable entirely last night- not even a note like they have now. Nothing could connect to it and even iTunes was getting the notice that the store was taken offline. I think I prefer the sticky note instead. :)

That was funny! Had a nice laugh. Yeah OS X updates are highly uncharacteristic of Apple. They, well, just fail after updates.

Rumor has it that Apple is trying to figure out a way to charge $1000 for a netbook...

I am not sure if that was a snark or not, but the new 13" MacBook Pro starts at $1199. So yeah, maybe the new MacBook will be $1000, or less, of course that is for portable on which you can do "real work."

Snow Leopard- mostly developer based stuff
