HTC and others should build smartphone "platforms" that are capable of running all of the mainstream licensed OSes (Android/Symbian/WinMo/...). Then, the smartphones could be flashed, in percentages relative to customer demand for each OS.

This approach would allow them to maximize their return on each smartphone design and it would also offer the possibility of running multiple OSes simultaneously, if virtualization on smartphones ever catches on.

I agree but also the Palm's WebOS which would be incredible on the TouchePro2. I wish they had a faster Processor though as I heard one of the phones is coming with a 1 ghz super fast processor which would be blazingly fast.

I heard the touch pro2 will be running at $800.00 unlocked of course, for me, that's a bit much. I just purchased a high end 4GB RAM (450GB memory) notebook for $700 with loads of other features. I was looking forward to this phone, but the price is so damn high. I look forward to the Nokia N97 in a few months then. I can wait. there is a site that use some good info about the touch pro2, http://www.AllTouchPro2.com i want to hear what your view is on this smart phone.
