Thanks for all the valuable info. you pack into this site.I enjoy reading through all the articles in an effort to keep up with the latest technology. It's either "sink or swim" with the latter. Thanks for helping me to keep swimming - even if I'm just treading water!

Am I missing something? I thought Nikon and Canon (D90 and 5D Mark II) were the first cameras to have HD capabilities last year. Or perhaps we are just talking about point and shoot. I would think this is a mistake as the background blur you can get from dSLR is amazing for video recording. The point and shoot would struggle big time. Just a thought.

I've got the FujiFilm S2000D, while the camera is ok, the video is really awesome and the zoom works while recording.
