How about putting it against some serious competition and doing a Palm Pre vs. RIM BlackBerry? OK, I admit that would probably be going a step too far (although it would be interesting). It may be better than the iPhone, but the BlackBerry is a totally different story.

Would also like to see it up against the Nokia N97. Again, it's probably going a little bit too far. Maybe step-by-step: after first proving itself to be better than the iPhone.

Only difference is unlimited text--otherwise, they're the same pricing plan w/ less coverage than AT&T.

You can get 200SMS for $5/mo on AT&T for the iPhone....thought you might want to include that in your "review"
