There were plenty of e-book readers on display at CES 2010, but many question whether the market for such dedicated devices can support all the new entrants.

Vintage computer historians have long revered the Altair 8800. As it turns out, an unknown computer project at Sacramento State beat the Altair by three years.

If this phone doesn?t ?wow? me on day one, I?m returning it and moving my lines to AT&T where I know I can get the tried and true iPhone.
Sprint and Palm had better knock this one out of the park or they can add another subscriber to their 1.1 million subscriber lost total?
The Pre looks just about perfect. I think success depends on developers writing quality apps for WebOs. It's all about the apps now.
Any word on app pricing? Its been years since I owned a Palm, but I remember the prices for the more decent programs were anywhere from $15 and up. I'm hoping that the apps for the Pre will be priced much lower to remain competitive, but I haven't heard anything about it.
i have seen lot of "iphone killer" phones but none ever touched iphone yet
Either way Sprint is the absolute worst rated wireless service provider in the US. Just read the horror stories all over the net how they continue to screw over their customers and how they loose over 1 millionn subscribers every quater... And their plans are hardly less expensive than Verizon or ATT.
If you add the fact that most likely sprint will screw you over like many were overcharged for their service and then refused to fix the issue than you'll probably end up paying more going through sprint.
I used to have sprint and they sent me a bill for $573 for one months usage. When i called to find out about the situation I was told that i called in the begining of the month and that i lowered my minutes substantially and that was reason why my bill was so high...They are so full of it, why would i lower my mins and then use about the same mins as i normally used on my old plan every month. I explained my situation but sprint refused to fix the problem in any way even though they couldnt provide me with any evidence that i called to change my plan.
Deal with Sprint and they will rob you blind not to mention the hours of aggrevation i spent on the phone with the very worst customer service period. Long story short i never paid them and switched to Tmobile instead, and when they put negative remarks on my credit report i disputed them and won.
So sprint never got their money which they where trying to steal from me and they lost a customer and im sure many more who read my remarks regarding Sprint..
Will I be able to seamlessly absorb the ton of info that's in Palm Desktop, so that I can finally retire it? will I be able to sync and archive my SMS messages? If they accomplished those ends, I stay. Otherwise, it will be iPhone/ATT time. (Despite the fact that I don't care much for AT&T.)
Yeah, I know it's only $10, but I dont want to pay an additional $240 for the life. I'll just get a Treo 850 off craigslist and stick with my current.
that's only for aircards.
