- I personally use 3 networked media players in my house and love them. I buy DVD's, extract the movies, store them on a NAS, and then I can watch the movies on any or all three of the devices, without the need for a dvd player in each room. And with small children, no broken dvd players, no ruined dvd's, and if the movie on the NAS gets corrupted or lost, no sweat. Re-extract and move on to the NAS. 20 minutes......tops.
