i like the S9 and it seems to be more of a die hard audio player than the ipod touch but i think i'm still a sucker for the fanciness of the ipod! good comparison of features here... http://www.ipodmp3players.co.uk/page/6/iPod-touch-vs-Cowon-S9-technical-specs.html

s9 has a better sound than ipod even better with its new firmware (that has jet effect 3.0)
but ipod has a better interface & more sensitive touch and its a bit thiner ,s9 dosnt has browser & wifi
in ipod you can play better graphical games & so many great utility's
i believe if you want to be entertained by your player buy ipod if you only care about sound buy cowon :1)cowon q5w 2)a3 3) o2 4)s9 5)d2+
if you ask me i have the lowest model in this list & I prefer it to ipod (but with having a min=100 $ headphone to experience all cowons great effects & powerful out put )
