Comments on: More ZuneHD renderings surface

Windows Mobile Power User has posted new images and some juicy specs for what may be Microsoft's next-generation portable media player, the ZuneHD. Word is the images are real but no one's willing to vouch for the specs.

The tough thing for Microsoft is, people seeing a reason to buy the ZuneHD (if these are real in fact) over the iPod Touch. The iPod has the "cool gadget" thing going on. Apple also advertised the Touch as a gaming device, and that hooks on a lot of buyers: A Portable Media device that does just about everything.

I feel the the ZuneHD and iPod touch are pretty tied, but the ZuneHD doesn't seem to have a Web Browser, any info on that?

Looks nice to me. By that time, the iPod touch should have 64GB though...

It is real! You're just wishing that it wasn't

Many microsoft sources have stated that these are in fact real

Plus if they weren't real, microsoft wouldn't have let it go on for 2 weeks and not say any contradictions

32GB aiming too low. MSFT need to be proactive in their planning, not reactive and merely matching what Apple will have already had on the market for a year by the time this thing hits stores. Should have a CAMERA, something I really wish my 2G Touch would've come with. Does look sweet, but we'll see how well it really does; the Samsung P3 is a pretty sweet device but it out now in some parts of the world and should be well along everywhere else by the time MSFT finally gets their touch device to market.
