It seems like I have been waiting forever for an Android smartphone without a keyboard. I know it takes time to develop new handsets but geeezzzz.

Me too!! My ancient Palm needs replacement, but I've been hanging on for that no-keyboard Android....

I've been waiting for a good smartphone WITH a keyboard (on Verizon). Touchscreens suck!

It warms my heart to hear of a gadget, that does not have a Micro$oft lame duck OS inside.

Clever. You know, the whole dollar sign thing. Speaking of gadgets without MinMo... Symbian anyone?

I've often wondered why HTC and other cell phone makers have not implemented Android into their phone. But then again I've also wondered why we haven't progressed to the point where you can get a phone and then choose what OS to run on it. AH, what a world that would be. ::Sigh::

I'm beginning to wonder if anyone will step up and provide credible competition for the iPhone this year. I love what I've seen of the Pre, but then again, I loved what I saw of the PS3, and we've seen how well THAT came out! I know, I know, different companies, but do we yet have a firm release date, even as we close in on the end of Q1? Now we get rumors of new Android handsets, but the only two we've actually seen (only one of which is available) seem as feature-crippled as the first-gen iPhone. Meanwhile the iPhone 3.0 software looks to fix about 90% of that platform's common deficiencies, and the likelihood of a 3.0 hardware release in the next three months is quite high. I'm by no means an Apple fanboi, but while they seem to be (finally!) getting the iPhone's act together, we're getting next to bupkus from the competition. I'm definitely in the market for a smartphone of the iPhone's calibre, but if no one else can crank out the equal or better by July, I know where my dollars are going.
