- I only see one problem with the author's conclusion that this means that people want Blu-Ray, contrary to popular belief. I think that, logically, the same people that are too cheap to buy DVDs would most certainly be to cheap to buy Blu-Ray, so roughly the same amount of people are stealing Blu-Rays that steal DVDs. So, if the total amount of Blu-Ray sales is much less, the percentage of people stealing would be higher.
