Sometimes, a deal is small, unexciting, and utilitarian. Such is the case with this Kingston card, though it has a lifetime warranty and doesn't make you wrestle with any rebates.

I just bought 2 of these exact cards from Newegg last week for the same price shipped. Unfortunately, one of my two cameras doesn't support the sdhc tech. (I forgot to check) so now I have 8gb for one camera. Not a big deal and definitely not worth paying the return shipping.

Not long ago, meritline.com had a PQI 4GB MicroSDHC card for the same price. Free shipping, lifetime warranty. I bought a couple for stocking stuffers, and they're good for cameras or phones, etc. Can't argue with any of these prices!

I just bout a Transcend 4GB SD card at eCost.com for $4.99. That's 4GB SD, NOT SDHC. Regular SD is compatible with most of my existing SD devices, while SDHC isn't.

Ah, but how much did you pay for shipping? In my experience eCost charges a minimum of $10, even on tiny items like this.

I only buy Micro SD cards. Only my computer can use SD cards, PS3 uses Mini SD, my phone and DS use Micro SD cards, and my PSP uses Sony Memory Sticks. I plan on getting a single large capacity SD card to store music and video that I can use on any of those devices. Maybe 1 day I will get that perfect set up I've been waiting for.

So now we no longer need to sit and burn DVD-Rs anymore. Just store it all on these cards. Though a clean DVD-R can be bought a cheaper price; sitting awaiting the burning process, then having the worry about the fragile DVD surface is making these little cards quite the bestest solution for storage.

eCost.com shipping was $9.50, Rick- but that was for all the items I bought, and those totaled about $50, so $9.50 sans sales tax was palatable to me. Again though, biggest thing that appealed to be was the the 4GB card I bought is regular SD, and I find those somewhat hard to find at that capacity.
