By far the best 22" LCD I've ever used is the Dell SP2208. It's more expensive, but you get what you pay for. The monitor feels solid, and it doesn't have one of those shaky stands, and if you want to buy a great quality web cam (I don't mean one of those 30$ cheap ones) that will cost you around 70$ to 90$, and it's really really sharp with an HDMI input for connecting my PS3.
