I wish that they would make a WinMo device with a capacitive touchscreen like the Storm, G1 and iPhone. Haptic feedback is great, but I find the capacitive touchscreens more responsive.

Ugly? Shiny maybe, but Ugly? not to me. Personally, I think other phones such as the iPhone and G1 are ugly, but this one is very nice looking. To be sure, that photo up above isn't very flattering...

Ugly or not, how many dang phones does ATT get a year from EVERYONE? a million? Geez, Sprint, which I have used for 7 years now doesn't get anything good, nothing that makes me want to haul butt to the store and buy one. Figure I'm jumping ship next September when my contract is up. That sucks for them. I'm a loyal guy who has NEVER been late with a payment. oh well...

well the thing is sprint is cdma the majority of phones are GSM better and faster technology plus they are used around the world

Yeah, AT&T has a pretty solid porfolio of smartphones for every user. There's the BlackBerry Bold for Crackberry addicts, the Incite for those just wanting touch, and the Samsung Epix and Fuze for those wanting real keys and touch. That doesn't even mention the iPhone 3G - which is a catch all device for the smartphone market, as well as the casual one.

And what's wrong with AT&T? AT&T has great service and most of their phones are for the business world. When it comes to GSM headsets, AT&T doesn't disappoint!

Am I the only one disconcerted by that massive bezel? If the touchscreen is 3", how big is the whole phone?

Shouldn't be no bigger than the iPhone. It's screen is only 0.2" larger then the Incite, and takes up more of the bezel space. Maybe alittle thicker.

I just got this phone. Don't let the picture fool you. I actually really like this phone. It is kind of like a longer and slimmer version of the LG shine. It is quite compact as a Windows Mobile phone and something I am very picky about is call quality. This phone has excellent call quality and has a nice loud volume when listening to callers. I tried the HTC fuze, but I found the screen small, the body a bit thick, and the headset volume was too low for me even at maximum volume. The screen automatically turns sideways and there is a sensor to automatically turn off the display when you're using it during a call.

I've had the phone for two days. Can't find anything disappointing about it yet.
Touch screen is very responsive and I haven't had to use included the stylus yet.
Everything was easy to setup (WiFi, Email, Personalization)
Only nag is the when using kybd in landscape, there is very little room left on the display for what you are actually typing...not a big deal, but figured I should try and find something "not positive" to say.
Definitely my favorite phone since the Motorola PT550 (early 90's). Hopefully it lasts as long as that one.
