Thank you for talking about the CherryPal. I'm linking to this page from my blog at http://cherrypal.blogspot.com CherryPal? replaced the C100 with the 8GB SSD C114 - still the same price!!! The CherryPal? C114 desktop is about the size of a paperback book, but has the performance you would expect from a full-size desktop computer. Freescale's fast triple-core mobileGT processor delivers exceptional multimedia performance and feature-rich user interfaces, while only consuming as much power as a clock radio. CherryPal uses 80 percent fewer components than a traditional PC, and because it has no moving parts, it operates without making a sound and will last 10 years or more. "The first CherryPals will get shipped on US election day, November 4th, guaranteed. We were able to upgrade the C100 to the C114 for the same low price. We increased the local Solid State Disk Drive from 4GB to 8GB and slightly changed the casing, lighter and slimmer, very cool. I am sure you will like it." I pre-ordered a CherryPal back in July. I requested a refund and I still haven't received! I know I've been scammed out of $250, but I am trying to get the word out so that nobody else has to loose their money to. I am not the only one that this has happened to! Spread the word!

CherryPal for Everyone? I'd laugh if it wasn't so sad!

I'm one of the many (it seems) who foolishly pre-ordered a CherryPal and paid out hard earned money for the privilege.

Despite many requests for a refund, including direct to Max Seybold the CEO (who advised they were having PayPal "issues" and would send a check) I've received nothing and now they just ignore my emails.

As far as I'm concerned, the only thing "green" about CherryPal is the colour of my money that they refuse to return and I'm not alone in this it seems.

I'm hoping that one of the tech news sites will consider a story on this company to try and entice Max Seybold out of the woodwork to explain why he won't return the money that isn't his and why he is still trying to sell a product on his website that it seems he cannot ship.

MAX SEYBOLD!!! WHERE ARE YOU? WHERE'S MY MONEY? WHY DON'T YOU CRAWL OUT FROM UNDER THE ROCK YOU ARE UNDER AND RESPOND TO MY EMAILS?

Did you get your Cherrypal or refund?

Better late then never. Got mine by Dec. 16, / ordered on Nov. 4. They did include the T-Shirt as promised. Not too much trouble to setup the wireless. A powered USB hub did work on my wireless keyboard. I'm going to try installing a printer.

Some minor things: scroll-wheel not working on mouse. Not sure about the computing 'Cloud'. nothing on the device indicates where it is or how to save files there. Need more documentation to answer these questions.

Performance does not match my $1300 laptop running Vista, but wouldn't expect it. The browser is Minefield, which is in some form of beta. I just thought it would use regular Firefox.

If I can get the scroll-wheel, printer and put files out on the cloud (And get to them from a non-cherrypal computer like the one at work.), I'll be fully pleased with my purchase.
