a lot of macbook pro users are not kids playing games or geeks looking for a hardware buzz, we earn our living from these tools, and care less about how the laptop looks and more about the look of the work we get out of it. A glossy screen is useless for video editing in all but darkroom conditions. Firewire is the mainstay of our work and non of us want to be shoved into buying a rack of new peripherals to make the most of a notebook. most of us have far more invested in cameras and drives etc than in laptop hardware!!
