I called telesales on the 19th to order the Touch Pro. They told me that they had bad news, that the touch pro will not be released on the 19th but has been moved to Nov 2. She also told me that they will call me on the Nov 2 (i pick the time) to order the phone. I hope they keep their WORD.

&$^$@#!@#!!!!!!! This phone excites me so much...in fact, I've waited to upgrade so much that I've dropped my Mogul/6800 3 times, with a couple nice cracks and dents in it, and not filing an ERP claim b/c I am just waiting to upgrade!!!! Come on, Sprint!!! All I can say is, thank God it's the Sprint version...the verzion Touch Pro looks a little shady (compared to the extra processing power / memory!)

I just talked to a manager at the Sprint store. They can not even order the phone until the 31st. I was told that they even if you order the phone on that day you will get it somewhere between Nov 1 and 5th. This sucks....... I need a new phone, my IP-830w is horrible. It formatted twice on its own.....POS...

i got mine yesterday...didnt know how/where to install the memory card, called sprint's CS and that was a real fiasco as they had little to no info on this phone due to its newness....i guess! i finally founf out where the memory card went...my only issue/complaint would be that when u slide the keyboard out, the top portion of the phone feels a tad bit 'wobbly' to me...is this to be expected, just doesnt feel tight and firm as i would expect it to be...also, i got my phone from best buy and they were unable to transfer my contacts and calendar from my treo to the TP, so off to the sprint store i will go! anybody else having any issues?

No issues with mine. The micro-sd card goes in the back of the phone underneath the battery cover. I also was unable to get contacts changed over from my Motorola i930 but the Touch Pro but that wasn't a huge deal. My Touch Pro is tight and the slide keyboard feels solid when opened up. No complaints here other than the weather module wouldn not connect to download updates, but do an internet search and you will find a third party download which fixes it. I love this phone! See CNET for my full review.

hi there! i called CS 3x's and went to the sprint store today and nobody has an answer to this question, is there a 'talking text' associated with this phone? i'm referring to if i send u a text, when u receive it, does the TP have the ability to speak the text out loud when u want to retrieve the msg? my friend has the verizon voyager and her phone can do this, looks pretty cool....i want to 'hear' my texts too! :o)

My initial thoughts are that the Touch Pro is an extremely nice device, the screen seems to be more sensitive than the Touch Diamond and it looks like HTC have spent the extra time with the Pro refining a few things. The TouchFlo3D interface seems more fluid and that QWERTY keyboard it great. It's a little bit bigger than I had anticipated and looks almost twice as thick as the Diamond plus the additional 50 grams may not sound like a lot but make it close to 50% heavier. Also, that TV-out feature that everyone has been talking about requires a special cable that you have to buy separately!

So much for this statement:

"Sprint expects to slightly delay launch of the Touch Pro by HTC to ensure we have adequate inventory in all channels before making the device commercially available"

December 2nd, and I'm trying to replace my Mogul (which I am going on my 4th one in a year...3 in 2 weeks) and I can't get it because there are none in inventory...even in the local sprint stores.
