Sorry, the article does say if it does anything to actually cool the USB drive. I suppose it could fill it up with ice water or a cold beverage of your choice. :)

What's really cool about this thumb drive is that it defies the laws of physics. Look at the way it diverts the beer bubbles, coool!

And if you find yourself stuck in the middle of nowhere w/your USB key, you have an emergency beer swig to get ya through til Search&Rescue locates you... :)
