I love those old bells! That "ding-ding" sound brings back such fond memories of when I was young and going to the filling station. That is just terrific that you rigged up your computer to ring one of your bells when you get an email! How about that! That is such a clever mix of high-tech and old time nostalgia. I may be interested in one of your bells. It would be nice to have one "ding-ding" when we get a visitor at our house. We live in the country and have a very long driveway. I have one of Milton's Bells - and the sound is addicting. My kids jump on the hose just to hear the sound. It wasn't cool enough that Milton took apart the old pneumatic bells and made a low-voltage system, but to go and wire a bell to his computer?!?!? That is off the hook! What a great blend of the old and new!
