Crysis runs pretty well on Macs.. as long as they have the right specs.

Looking cloer at the picture, the trackpad seems to be very distorted... maybe the result of a messy photoshop? The photo is far too blurry to come from a digital camera like the one pictured, and the colours in the room do not go together. One would assume that both walls would be white, where as the one behind the person, is yellow.

First of all, you always need to see Apple products in person to appreciate them. I love my big 24" aluminum iMac and even though I have an iPhone 3G I got a new nano for jogging because it's just amazing.

If you haven't been following, a glass multi-touch trackpad has been rumored for quite a while now. It looks incredible. The multi-touch that was integrated on the Air was a really cool start. It wasn't overdone, but put in at places that seemed natural to use.

Going further with a full iPhone touch screen on the MacBook could be REALLY COOL. It's time for the trackpad to be more intelligent since people use laptops on the go and carrying mice are a pain! That's innovation.

But this could very well be photoshopped.

I wonder if they could add an OLED screen because that would be something to be excited about. Or maybe finally a blu-ray drive. Hopw the redesign models doesn't burn my lap.

The 17" Macbook Pro should havea full keyboard with a numeric keypad, just like Lenovo's new 17" lauggable.

Some angry MS employees posting so far.

I prefer the design of the current MBP, but no one can deny even this new one is one of the most refines and stylish notebooks around.

This image would also suggest that Apple will succeed where Microsoft failed with Sideshow. The dock, often described as a screen hog will be moved to a touchpad that is a multi-touch LCD.

sorry everyone.. but you're wrong.

It looks to me like apple (or the guy who created this image) did intentionally add a dock to the trackpad. I would love this because I hate having the dock take up precious screen real estate. So I set the dock to hide but then it pops up everytime I go to adjust a window size at the bottom of the screen...

Imagine if it did have a screen on the trackpad.... like a built in Wacom tablet :)

What I really want to see on the next gen macbooks is illuminated keyboards like on the MBP

A better question: is this a good way to inconveinience billions of pixels to fill up space on CNET with a shakey rumor pretending to be news? Go do a write up about Crocs or something.

I doubt that this is the new MacBook Pro. First off, a glass touchpad just sounds like a customer support nightmare. Second, having the dock in on the touchpad just seems impractical. But, I wouldn't be surprised if Apple did decide to replace the keyboards on the Pro's to the scrabble tile keys on the MacBook and Air. A Multi-Touch trackpad and full aluminum casing for the MacBook wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Guys, if you don't like what Dan's posting then DON'T LOOK AT IT.

Who says we can't have a little speculative fun once in a while?

What's wrong with letting CNET be our insider in these rumors?
