Q: What do you throw to a drowning lawyer?
A: His partners.

This doesn't change much, he'll just use another lawyer for his filings.

Disbarred by a single judge? Normally, a panel of Bar Assn. lawyers must look at such a case, not just one judge. So, in FLA a single, crony judge could just get rid of you. Remember Florida judge James L. King, who was a board member of Meyer Lansky's Miami National Bank, the money-laundering vehicle reported in Brill's book The Teamsters as a favored vehicle for laundering Trafficante's heroin $ to Switzerland? King also flipped the Chrisitic Institute lawsuit to make the institute pay $1.2 million and shut up about "the Secret Team." A crony like King could step on any lawyer. Thompson should practise law in a state that has a better bar system than Florida. Florida's system can be used for petty, personal reasons.

You know, that would be funny if the tragedy wasn't that it is true.

This guy is just disbarred in ONE state. He'll just move to another states, keep on filing these ridiculous lawsuits, and keep on going.

While I totally DESPISE the idiot and think that he is full of it on the 'violent video games are connected to violence in real life!' point..... I don't see this stopping him or anyone else.

If he goes into any state that follows the American Bar Association's rules of conduct, that state will adhere to the Florida disbarment.
