Editorial accident. It's up there now. Thanks for pointing it out.

I'm a little surprised that you suggested using Vivid and some of the other "special shooting modes" since it runs counter your advise in earlier episodes which specifically (and I think correctly) state, to get the true scene in the camera, and do your editing in software on the computer.

I am also leaning towards disagreeing with the advise about underexposing. Yes, if you have a good dSLR you can do this. But if you have a point and shoot and try to get details out of the shadows afterwards, what you will wind up with is a lot of noise.

Now, since this is more for dSLR owners, I don't know if it is too specific, I have used Split Neutral Density filters in the past when trying to shoot these landscape shots so that you can tone down the skys, and keep them from getting blown out, while still getting the details in the shadows.

This isn't related to photos but to the actual podcast. Could you please check the volume recording settings because over the last couple of podcasts the volume is unusually low especially the one with Sarah Tew. I had to turn up the volume up to almost all to hear her while Ms. Grunin came through fairly ok. If you could check it would make it a better listening experience.

I check to see if it was the earphones or sound cards but other audio files sounded louder at a much lower setting.

Apologies for the mis-spelling of "check" instead of "checked".
