Zune 2.5 isn't bad, but it still breaks things (cover art, metadata) for iTunes. I like my Zune 80 a lot, except for its middling battery life and noisy song transitions. However I DON'T care much for my Zune 8 all that much; SQ barely better than an iPod and a touch pad that can't seem to exist with the right amount of sensitivity. Considering how lackluster Zune sales have been and its tepid market penetration, it's not a surprise to me that MSFT is keeping their form factor around for a while longer.

i hope they can integrate with minilyrics to add a feature that could take advantage of the huge user created database of lyrics... this could be a very good addition..

It is so nice to hear the latest update for Zune. Will it include support for Asian characters? Let's wait and see.

FM tagging is a great way to find new music and buy it. It also gave me the chance to listen to the news. These updates get me looking at the Zune, can not stay stay with my 4G Ipod forever.

I've had my Zune 80 for about 2 months now. I've had a Zen Touch 40 & a Dell DJ 20. I cant compare anything to an ipod, because i have never bothered with one. I can however say that the Zune is the best player i have ever personally owned, used, or played around with. I keep hearing some people having problems with the 2.5 software. The 2.5 software works great, never one problem. I am looking forward to the 3.0 software just for something to do. Other than that i am 100% satisfied with my Zune 80 as is.
