"we'll see tapered edges and rounded backs on both the 3G iPod Nano and 2G iPod Touch"

Wouldn't the new Nano be the 4th generation instead of 3rd?

1st - black front & metalic backs
2nd - full metal casing, came in multiple colors
3rd - current, small and wide video enabled nanos

The article says 4G, not 3G.

My 160GB classic was stolen this weekend. I would like to think that when the thief attaches it to iTunes, my serial can be traced and the IP will identify the person responsible.

I don't want to buy a new mp3 player.

Now doesn't that make sense? I hope to see that in an updated version of iTunes. Or if the iPod was connected to a computer with an internet connection not just iTunes. They would have to charge a fee for this service though. It could be offered like insurance. But there would be so many lawsuits it would be chaos. I am in High School and my friends have complaints about iPods, Zunes, etc get stolen. Now think of that on a national level or global level!? Nice idea....hope it comes true.

I hope Apple adds the rocker switch but stays with the more boxy design instead of rounded, it just looks slightly better in my opinion.

I really hope that the Nano doesn't look like it did in that link. I just got used to the look of the third generation nano.

I really hope that the 2G iTouch doesn't look like that...i hate that curved look.

I hate how they cheapened the iPhone and it's because of it's horrible design as well as lack of any important feature updates that I decided not to buy the 3G iPhone.

I'll wait for the next version to come around.

A volume rocker would be great for the iPod touch. So would GPS, since the Wifi location services don't work here. I'm not counting on the GPS at all though.

I think the new iPod touch should include a camera, bluetooth, volume rocker and a price cut. Just for those people that can afford the iPhone but not the iBill (phone bill) . It would be nice if it had all these but most likely it will only include the volume rocker. Why hasn't iTunes adopted the subscription idea? Well Apple has realized that it is the leading music downloading service. Who would want to offer unlimited downloads if you can charge the same thing for only 15 downloads (songs). Im not saying that it wouldnt be nice but it isn't going to happen. But who am I but a 15 year old at home? Can't wait to see what happens on Tuesday!

My 5th generation 60G just died. I've had the battery replaced on it twice and am thinking about upgrading to the Itouch 32G. Does anyone know if they are coming out with more gigs anytime soon?
