it's not the first sony ericsson phone for tmobile...they had them awhile back including the T300, T610

That's not a candy bar phone, it has a clamshell form factor.

It's probably a nice "flip phone", unfortunately, the keys look like the abysmal ones on the W300i. The keys are so bad I had to switch to a similar model the W710i. Sony has the best call quality/volume of any phone I've tried (at least the Walkman models do). People I call can't believe I'm on a cell phone. If I could have any phone it would be a Sony manufactured "GMail" preconfigured/friendly phone with a slide out querty keyboard (and not $1400 like the X1).
