I don't think electrocution is in the cards, but I'd be willing to bet on damage to plumbing or persons once the ultra-annoyance factor kicks in. Beep on every half gallon? I suggest it only start after some reasonable amount of water has already been used, beeping on the half gallon after that point.

Any inventor worth his or her saltpeter appreciates constructive criticism...but Let's encourage the fact that a twelve year old girl is doing the inventing (and even with all the sketchup in the world still decided to draw her diagrams meticulously by hand). Twelve. It's a cool idea - and there are plenty of green kool-aid drinkers out there who will appreciate the beep (I'll bet Ed Begley Jr would buy one ) Who knows when encoraged what this clearly bright little girl will do next.
