RAZR'S have been in our pockets for some time now. A RAZR V3xx gold that my husband refuses to give up and uses extensively. I gave up my RAZRV3 silver several months ago for my unlocked KRZR k1. The ability to just slide it in a pocket and it is flat. Mine is now smaller and better for me. Like clams, they protect the screen and accidental number dialing add voice dial and ear pieces and assigned ring tones and life is good. This new one looks good and is an entry level phone....something Motorola is good at. Battery performance is the key and I can't find anything on that. People should not pick on RAZR'S they are the ones who "started" all this phone/music/camera stuff and unless you need a Blackberry or an iPhone they are still as good as anything out there.

is it just me, or does it always seem like sprint continually invests in yesterday's cool intead of today's? seems like a tired company.

It seems that Moto cheaped out and didn't put in an external display. Looks like there is an external call indicator light which isn't much fun. This phone is one big yawn that would be fit for a wi-co like Cricket or Tracfone.

I thought it was the back of the phone, but it is actually the front, and no screen. Thats Absurd. A no-buy for me. I actually think my RAZR is crappy because of its battery life. I'm going iPhone soon (still crappy battery life), and I hope it will be better.

What's next? Is MS going to release SP3 for Windows 98? I really thought the RAZR would be dead by now...

You can see the outline of an external display on one of the pictures on the site that Leslie linked to...

The lower picture is actually the back of the phone. The front is where the camera is located as well as a mirrored display with touch sensitive music controls. Nothing new for Motorola. Very boring indeed.

I'll stick to my V9. There's nothing here that would benefit me.

Looks boring. I'll keep my N95, thanks.
