WOW!! $199? i Bought My Metro Pcs Phone In VaLLejo Ca For Like $189 At 520 Broadway st or Somewhere Around There.. Anyways They Are Awsome PeOpLe Because Like CNN says the Phone Is Versatile! it has everything i wanted like MP3! its Great.. Im a Costumer & im Loving iT!

Yep. I live in Stockton, CA and I got my R450 (red) for 160.00 at a little Metro PCS store.
The phone rocks, but the lady sold me the wrong case for it.

I bought one of these phones about a week and a half ago. So far, so good. It's my first cell phone that wasn't a basic freebie phone. It works great, and looks even better. If you're going to sign up with Cricket or MetroPCS, don't waste your money on one of the cheaper alternatives. You'll be sorry later if you do.

Hi, i just purchased the samsung r450 messanger from metro pcs. And when i hooked it up to my computer it ask me to incert the flppy disc. I didn't grt any disc with it, and there fore on down loading songs or ring tones .Help

Hmmm, not sure why it's asking for a floppy since those are much outdated. All I did was connect the phone to my computer with the enclosed USB cord and downloaded my music. One other thing that you should know is that in order to use an actual song for a ringtone, you actually have to save the music to "my ringtones" vs just downloading it to "my music". Hope this helps.

you need a cd disk for the program that is in your computer (BLUETOOTH) . When I got a usb bluetooth device for my computer to talk to my phone i got the usb device and a cd disk to load the particular program into my computer so it can talk to the phone

A formatted microSD memory card, USB cable and a PC are required for this procedure. CAUTION: Do NOT unplug the USB cable from either device during data transfer as this could cause damage to the handset and/or PC.

1. Confirm the handset's PC Connection is set to USB mode by following the steps below:
* While in standby mode, press the OK button for Menu
* Select Settings (9)
* Select Phone Settings (5)
* Select PC Connection (8)
* Highlight USB Mass Storage, using the navigation keys
* Press the OK button to set the handset's PC Connection setting to USB Mass Storage
2. Insert the microSD card into the memory card slot, located under the battery cover, on the left side of the handset.
3. Connect the USB cable to both the handset & the target PC.
4. Highlight USM, using the navigation keys, then press the OK button.
5. Once the USB connection has been established, the handset displays "Connected to PC" and the PC will show a pop-up removeable disk box.
6. Click on "Open folder to view files using Windows explorer" then click OK.
7. Right click on start then left click on Explore to open a second Windows explorer window.
8. Navigate to the location of the MP3 files then drag and drop them into either the My Music or My Ringtones folder.
* Note: In order to set an MP3, located on a memory card, as a ringtone it MUST be located in the My_Ringtones folder.
* Note: The MP3 files MUST reside in the My_Music folder in order to be played from the Music Player Library.
9. Now it is safe to unplug the USB cable from both the PC & handset to begin playing the MP3 files.

i think u need the memory card for the phone since the computer doesnt read the phone without the memory card....thats what i did to mines (same phone)

I just bought this phone almost a week ago. I love it and the memory is great. Crystal clear view on the camera. I've even dropped it 3 times and all there are is a minor, not visible scratch so it is VERY durable.
I would totally reccomend this phone to anyone, especially those who text a lot.

I believe you connect the USB to the phone and then connect the USB to the PC and then open up the Music folder and then folder your files are in and then drag and drop them and you're good to go!

there is only one samsung pc studio program if that doesnt work then it is also availible on brothersoft.com

Do all the songs on the MP3 player arrange themselves in aphabetical order? All my songs are in aphabetical order not the order of the tracks of the album. Does anyone know how to fix this?????

other than the no ringtone problem, is there any other problems i should expect before buying this phone?

It offers all instant messengers I'm sure, AOL,YAHOO,MSN the main ones.

I recently purchased a Samsung Messager (SCH-r450 Serioes) I want to download the pictures I took on my camera to my computer. I made the connection from phone to computer, but doesn't seem to show up on my computer (and didn't come with any disc to download software). So far the way I've been getting my pictures on my computer is by sending them from my phone to my email address, but this is time consuming (send each individually). Any suggestions? Thank you!

you have to copy or move the pics to memory card ,then plug it in to pc ,then you will be able to see them. hope this helps. does anyone know how long the warantee from samsung /metro is for this phone. im having problems with the camera, sometimes when i go to start the camera ,it says camera error,and i have to restart the phone to be able to use it.

I recently purchased this phone and love it but I am having one major problem. When using the msn instant messenger, I cannot scroll up to see my messages. The entire phone freezes when I use the up arrow key. Is there a different way to scroll that I am not finding in my manual or is this a problem with the phone?

In order to buy ringtones, you have to go to the Metro PCS store and pu tmoney on it. WHen I asked why, they said because they're plans are one price a month and you buying ringtones and it being a little more by adding to the bill, it' s like breaking the contract so make sure you go to the store and put money on it.

My sister has this phone and everytime she comes over I am alwasy playing with it especially the music. I head the service was excellent and is worth it. I am sick and tired of these high service packages and the rip offs. I will be buying this phone within the next two weeks can't wait, I am sick and tired of my sprint razor phone
