- My wife had an iPod Nano that she used for working out. It quit working one day, and she took it to the Genius at the Apple store. He told her it had water damage and it could be replaced for $100. She was surprised to find out that sweat is considered water damage at Apple. Bottom line - make sure your Nano is in some sort of protected sleeve to prevent sweat damage!
