The obvious mac bias of the author is horrendous here. Can't believe that apple might ACTUALLY not have a better offering?

Macs have premium pricing cuz they are premium products. If you don't understand that, then you're a PC. If you don't care about aesthetics, innovation, and creativity, then you're a PC. If you are broke and you don't mind having a broken laptop in the very near future, then you're a PC. ----this was submitted on my PC X61 Lenovo Tablet Laptop.

How is the current iteration of mac products any innovation? It's THE SAME EQUIPMENT in both computers I mentioned above.. or do you somehow believe that the 320GB harddrive in the mac is different than the 320gb harddrive inside the hp? they are the SAME drive. The c2d 2.66 from intel is the EXACT same part in both the mac and the pc. Mac laptops and HP laptops are MANUFACTURED by the same company, using the SAME parts. Why is a 750 Gig harddrive $449 at applestore when it's $70 at newegg? It's the SAME drive from seagate.

She spent all of about two seconds in the Apple store. Same people are walking by when she walks in and when she walks out.

As a long time PC user, builder, and tech supporter, I have to say that if I had enough money, I'd be using a Mac instead. With Apple, you get what you pay for. OSX is so much more stable than any version of Windows. I've suffered long enough with Windows 3.1, 95, 95 OSR2, 98, 98 SE, ME, 2K, XP Home, XP Pro, Vista 32 bit, Vista 64 bit. I'm not even remotely interested in Windows 7! I tried to make my laptop a Hackintosh, but it didn't work well. I'll be switching to Ubuntu the next time my Vista installation starts giving me problems.

This is great news. I can't wait for this ad campaign to bring down the price of Macs, so that I can finally buy a Mac without feeling like I got ripped off.

I just purchased a new Dell Studio 17 and for comparison decided to put together the same machine on Apple's website to compare prices. The Macbook Pro was only about $60 shy of being exactly double in price and well over $1000 more. Mac has a lot of good things going for it, but let's face it, in most cases, people are paying for status.

lol...microsoft obviously didnt think this commercial through. for example when she goes into the apple sotre you can see a guy walking past her wearing a brown jacket and jeans...when she walks out seemingly 2 min later the guy is 10 feet from where he was before...microsoft wasnt even in the apple store for 5 sec...
