Why is it that so many people think that this experiment is going to be the "end of the world" one? I mean if there is really any harm form two very tiny particles (and lets get this right we not even talking about a full atom, we are talking about a part of an atom. The proton to be correct!) then we would have a major problem on our hands every time two trains collided at high speed. I mean think about it, we are talking about the relevant mass to speed ratio when you think about it. If train A is traveling at 250km/h and train B the same speed and they hit head on, then oh my god it's a black hole! (NOT!) At most we will get some interesting answer from this experiment, like if space travel is a possibility or not. I'd love to see it as a yes do Steven Hawking can choke on his own words, that what I'd love to see. I mean E=mc(squared) right. Will take that and play around with it, m would be m=E-c (replicator equation) and C would be c=E-m! (warp speed anyone!) These are the questions we should really be looking at and why no one has seen them yet! Albert Einstein had more than just the equation for Nuclear Fusion, he had them all in one, just had to play with them that's all. (And for the m=E-c instead of c being the speed of light, let it represent light it self, or in this case a lack there of!)

Nothing is going to happen form this experiment, I know I have looked over some of the spec's which are available online on CERN's own website and they have this thing pretty shielded with update metals and different composite materials. Also, if they do find anti-matter, than that would be a good thing because we could test the theory of c=E-m, all we need to do is find something that is able to hold a charge of pure energy on itself surface and take a directed burst of anti-matter so that we can get the resulting forced push of warp speed. Well that and and inverted magnetic field so that push has something to push off of. Well enough of my mad rumblings. I mean not everyone wants to touch or visit another planet in their life time. I know it;s been a long awaited dream of mine!
