Watching the live feed on NBC Olympics.com means experiencing the warts, too.

Try http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olympics/

You'll need a UK based free proxy... but... commentary in English and a selection of sports live.

Since the BBC broadcast 6 channels for the Olympics there is usually commentary. We do in the UK also have our nationalistic commentary (every country does I guess)... but the BBC is add free and the online feeds are taken from broadcast TV which has 1 main channel (in Analogue/SD/HD) and then 5 additional side SD channels available on digital TV from the interactive EPG.

Eurosport (http://player.eurosport.co.uk/) also have live coverage online and a video stream shadowing their 1HD/SD Olympic channel but that's pay and I have no idea what that includes.

Everybody is right about NBC sensoring the olympics. They only put on what they want you to see. I was watching platform diving and waiting to see the only Mexican, Pacheco, who was at one point in 6th place. I kept watching and they showed everyone else except him. They showed people who were on 12 and 14th place, but not Pacheco who was in 7 and 8th place. There are a lot of Mexicans in the US as everyone knows, and I'm sure were waiting to see him and any other athlete of Mexican background. I was outraged that they did not even show him once. They didn't show him and I'm sure they didn't show other ones except the handful that they wanted to show, Americans and Chinese, Canada, and Great Britain. There are a lot more athletes competing and I was disappointed in they way it was covered. I have sadly made a decision to never watch the olympics again on regular TV, especially NBC. I am very proud of being American, but this has opened my eyes at how News Coverage can be sensored and not give quality and equality coverage to all the athletes. Yes, if you want to watch the "real thing" go out of the US coverage and into the foreign feed. I will.
