If you would listen to the man...this is the best way to view his work. If you are a Clapton fan then go listen to his archives......oh yea not enough people care about his music for him even to think of a project like that.

I'm sorry johnmorgan2 but I have to emphatically disagree. Sell out?! Think about it for a moment. It's QUITE the opposite!

Again sell out....the farthest thing from it....technology did nothing but screw this world up....Neil realizes that and is dealing with it by giving his archives to us using the best possible mode.

nobody is selling out here, neil young is just excited about being the first artist to actually do something like this. Once again neil young is changing the way we will experience music, video, articles, pictures and so on. He is offering us a living breathing account of his career and fans of his should be very grateful, I know I am. Neil young is one of the greatest musicians who ever lived and the last time i checked he is in no need of a few extra bucks. God bless neil young and all his fans around the world!!!!

Cynnkitty - think again. Here's what Neil had to say on the topic:

However, the artist, whose long line of hits -- from "Cinnamon Girl" to "Rockin' in the Free World" -- includes a song in which he vowed never to shill for a sponsor, told reporters that Sun is not sponsoring his project.

"I'm actually plugging myself," Young said of his appearance. "They've enabled me to do something I've wanted to do for a long time. I feel like it's a good thing to acknowledge that."

You just don't get it.

one lets just remember this is NEIL F'N YOUNG. he's not selling out, just as Mark said "is changing the way we will experience music, video, articles, pictures and so on. He is offering us a living breathing account of his career" and further more, to people to accuse people of "selling out" well ****, wouldnt you want to make some money and turn on more people to your music?.. while youre sitting in your dingy little flat complaining, Neil's out cranking music, making a statement and some damn money... he's not puff daddy or the like. get over yourself and off your couch!.. and about the wal-mart gig... where do you think the people who really listen to Neil go to shop daily? he's bringing his music to the people who really give a ****...

Neil Young is releasing some more of his music so we can all enjoy it, not "selling out." I don't get why you think he is selling out??? he's not selling his songs to commercials like Eric Clapton does. To this day i still have an urge to go out and buy Michelob beer everytime i hear "After Midnight." When he sells "Heart of gold" to sell "Gold Bond" cream then you can start cryin." Until then keep your "lets all burn Neil at the stake" comments to yourself, and keep on rockin in the free world.

Neil Young is releasing more of his music so we can all enjoy it, not selling out like "Eric Clapton" and countless others do. I still have an uncontrollable urge to go buy a six pack of "Michelob" everytime i hear "After Midnight" on the radio. When you start hearing "i wanna live with my cinnamon swirls, i could be happy the rest of my life with my cinnamon swirls" for "cinnamon swirl cocoa crispies" on T.V. then you can start crying. until then quit bashin' Neil, and keep on rockin in the free world.
