I agree Google has the cash to invest - I question the motivation to invest, based on the analysis of numbers.

The key question for them would be "What do the next 5,000 - 10,000 employees work on?" and CRM or Project Management or SQL databases would seem to rank pretty low - exactly the types of things corporations need.

I have been using Zoho and Google Docs for quite some time and I love both of them. Though some of the features of Zoho is just amazing compared to Google Docs or other cloud computing.

As I said in the story, Zoho needs to continue pushing hard....build its suite and brand ...while Google and MS are figuring out how they want to play
