The new Celeron CPU is not a "Celeron D," but just a "Celeron." No "D." They dropped the "D" moniker after they switched to the Core architecture for everything.

AMD just stinks. Even with the new lawsuits from the Democrats in NY you just can't stop Intel. Whomever makes the best product will make the cash. Why be punished for it.

AMD doesn't stiink. Not as good, but still a CPU that'll chug along just fine, and I've had some Intels give me problems even on Intel boards. I've never had an AMD go bad on me. I've had AMD systems crap out on me, but the chip itself was always fine afterwords.

However, what you do is when just any old chip will do is go in somewhere and be like AMD sucks. I'll pay you half of what you're asking. Which I actually did get once, but what you're looking for is a discount. It's just stupid to say AMD sucks because if you're paying the same price for an AMD that you are an Intel then you're just an idiot, and if you're not paying the same price then it doesn't matter. You're not paying as much so why would you expect it to be as good? If someone won't give you a discount on it then just buy the Intel.

Sounds like someone got tricked into paying full price for an AMD system at some point lol.
