I can only hope Mr. Seiler does as good a job for Intel as he did on AMD's R600.

I hope Intel does a better job with discrete graphics this time around and shows a lot more fortitude. The i740 was nothing to get excited about, and Intel wimped out in the face of stiff competition.

Does anyone know if Intel is primarily marketing this for the graphical consumer market or the co-processing market. From what I have read it seems like it targeted more at co-processing, and adapting it to things like physics engines and graphic processing.

Intel jumping into this market should help prices. The long delay to deliver means very little right now. We'll have to see after launch what this means in terms of performance in games.
