To each his own, I suppose. I actually liked Vista quite a bit, never crashed on me and is infinitely more secure than XP.
I bought my first Mac, a 1.83GHZ Duo, 512MB, 60GB MacBook two years ago to see what the big deal was and wasn't impressed. All I did was using it for surfing and watch DVD and little else and having to go back to my desktop for every little application made me realize it was just not for me. And the pitiful number of software titles finally got the better of me and I sold my MacBook on eBay and bought a Gateway T6836 instead.

I do have to give props to Apple on one thing though, the MacBook kept its value remarkably well, after purchasing it for $999 two years ago, I was able to get almost $600 on eBay for it, meaning I got my brand new Gateway for basically free.

Bottom line, everyone has different uses for their computers and should act accordingly when it comes to choosing between Mac and PC.
