No the Zune is Microsoft's attempt at copying Apple's iPod, but Apple moved the goal posts far in advance of where the Zune is now at. The iPod Touch now has 32GB of storage - HDD-based MP3 players are definitely passe now.

- Boy that is exactly right. I really had no loyalty to ipod, Zune or any other player having an ancient Dell DJ. The Zune software is frankly beyond terrible. I've seen all the falme wars between ipod users and Zune users but honestly I wanted to love the Zune but ended up taking it back and buying an ipod. My music library migrated flawlessly to itune whereas the Zune software completly jumbled my entire collection. It's no wonder Zune sales are microscopic to other players.
