sharing a pc

If you cannot own a personal computer you could certainly share one. Do not forget the value that a community center or library has in your studies. Most people who have used a computer had someone to mentor them. This could be the person running the center or the person sitting next to you.

Consider the value of Microsoft's SteadyState project which makes Windows XP more robust in a shared user environment.
