If Microsoft is smart they'll play nice with Vistaphobes

I'm certainly not going to buy a computer with Vista. When this XP laptop dies, I'll try to get a new one with XP. If I can't, I'll get a Mac. If I can stay with XP, I'll be receptive to Windows 7 if it works well. If not, I'll have become a Mac person and probably never buy another Windows product. Unless I'm the only one who sees things that way, MS would be very foolish to try to strong arm us into buying Vista, because we have other options.

I switched to a MacBook coming from a Lenovo 3000 N100 running
XP Home then upgraded to Vista. I sold that notebook after two
years to get my MacBook and it was truly worth every penny. I'll
never own another Windows PC ever again.

I tried to install the sp3 update from Microsoft's site and my computer would boot to a blue screen. I had to have a tech from Friendly Computers come to my house to fix my computer. It took him about 45 minutes, and their rates were really reasonable. I am not sure what the problem was, but if you are having any problems, I recommend their services. Their site is www.friendlycomputers.com and you can find the closest location on their site.
