I'm willing to bet any Microsoft-Yahoo deal would be just like another AOL-Time Warner merger. Basically soon after all the deal all of the shareholders who were in it for the money will sell off to get their return and move on.... Then Microsoft will be saddled with massive debt and a slumping stock again. All of the Free BSD/Unix backers that Yahoo has will defect to Google as well and Yahoo-Microsoft will have a further slump in customers.... Even merged Yahoo-Microsoft or Microsoft-Yahoo still---- wont match Google in terms of Advertising.... Good luck Microsoft.
