I really worry about a world where Windows Vista is "too hard" for someone to use. Someone writting a book about annoyances in Windows must have a boring life, it isn't like Microsoft is going to actually listen...
The only thing I agree with is explorer does often choose the incorrect view for files, that's about it.

- There are a lot of free sites out there that will tell you the same info and offer downloads of the reg hacks. I use the how to geek and they offer a lot of useful (FREE) info and downloads.
