2 phones, laptop, broadband card, keyboard
by txdragonrider October 24, 2007 12:30 PM PDT
I carry 2 phone, a laptop, a portable keyboard for my palm 700p, a broadband card for the laptop.

It's all too much!

But I can't get 2 lines on my palm 700p. 1 for personal, 1 for business.. so I'm stuck with 2 phones.

I keep the keyboard handy for connecting to the palm when I just can't bring myself to unload the laptop, find a power source, insert the broadband card, connect, and reply to an email. So I just use the phone to reply to the email.

but I MUST have full working internet access many time, and the phone just doesn't always work on every website.

When they develop an WYSIWYG HTML editor for the palm, and when they develop a browser that will display 99% or more of the pages that you can access with firefox or IE, then I will carry my laptop a lot less. But I'll still need two phones.

If they can put TWO lines to one cell phone, then I'll be able to get away with just 1 phone. I guess it's possible now, but not economical at this point.

business & personal use

If the Cell phone companies would allow you to have two different phone numbers that goes two one phone and separate the calls on each line on the bills so that businesses use could be written off on your taxes that would be nice.

Then all you would have to do is provide your BUSINESS number to people for your business and your PERSONAL number for non-business related and you won't have to carry two phones so that you can keep track of your "business expenses".

Also when the HELL are we going to get the ability to block numbers on our cell phones!?
