I bought an HP notebook with Vista and my son had so much pity on me that he gave me his MacBook. I upgraded from Tiger to Leopard and enjoyed the changes and Snow Leopard has promised even greater changes. So, If you have a PC and are happy, keep your PC. I changed to Mac and have had 10% of the problems as I had with Windows. I will stay with my Mac which has great service support. You can stay with Windows. Most people who change to Mac are those who get fed up with Microsoft changing how everything looks and moving features around and around. I worked with Windows as a computer tech for two decades and am amazed at the simplicity and speed of Mac. Did I mention speed? I can turn on my PC first, then turn on my Mac and get to my Mac desktop before I can get to my PC login screen. Once again, if you like your Microsoft, keep it and continue to bash Mac.

End of the line, Mac's rule and PC's suck!
...
Lol. Please don't shoot me, I jest.
Both have there uses, strengths and weaknesses. I personally use macs although this is mainly due to my editing apps of choice being Logic Pro and Final Cut Studio.
Over recent years I've become more and more fond of this particular UNIX based OS and the hardware on which it runs, as such, I'm pretty sure that I'll stay mac based forever now.
That said, I won't lose friends over an OS or b!tch online to people who've made the "wrong" decision, because what's the right decision? It's truly personal.
Your operating system should compliment and enhance your workflow without distracting you from what you're there to do; be that playing games, multimedia editing or simply sending the odd e-mail to aunt may after typing up a shopping list.
It's a shame that with the release of Snow Leopard & Windows 7 just round the corner, people seem hell bent on slating them and labelling them as useless, or shoddy upgrades before anyone actually has a hands on opinion.
End of the line, my opinion, honestly, doesn't matter at all, and neither do 99% of the contributors to this article, because I will still invest in the OS and apps that I choose, and I'm sure you will too.
Peace.
