I believe the Yule Log app was created by Cali Lewis (of Geekbrief.tv) and her husband.

Cali Lewis created the iYule Log. You can find it at http://iyule.tv

The iYule isn't an app, it is a movie file that can be played on the computer or iPod.

Why is CNet only reporting this now?

Cali Lewis and her husband Neal teamed up with Geoff Smith to create the iYule video for the iPhone, iPod, Mac, last year.

Because the App they are reporting on is NOT the one Cali Neal have. Take a look at :

I can't believe they would go to the effort of creating the video and not just make the app.

From Moderati:

Apparently there is a huge application queue for the app store right now.
We've been waiting over a month, but unfortunately we haven't gotten any word
as to when it might actually come out.

Thank you for your interest, and I apologize for the inconvenience,

Ina,

In the future, maybe you should wait and do reviews on ACTUAL released products instead of a concept video of a product not even available.

Merry Christmas
