It occurs to me that MS was trying to appeal to a younger audience by going "quirky" along the same vein as the Apple campaign. Their solution? Instead of coming up with something new, clever, tight, and simple, they use the standard MS m.o.: spend a fat wad of cash on yesteryear's ideas and churn out something that doesn't really work.

I still refuse to install vista on any computer that I own. Acer is now making Linux laptops so atleast I don't have to join the 'cult of mac'
