A limited one, but yes. Out of the box it can sync with Outlook. And there's now a boatload of to-do apps available from the App Store. But it's no good for appointment alarms and the like.

well the ipod touch has wifi in it and i think if u jail break it can b a pda but i would not suuggest doing that

FYI: The Touch does not come shipped with 2.0 at this time. Apple still charges you with the $10 upgrade if you want it. You'll need to wait a few weeks/months for the current inventory to sell out first before you see new units trickling in with the new firmware update. Those on the shelf now are all 1.1.4.

Is there any word on whether the price on the itouch will be reduced? With the price cut of the iphone, a reduction in the itouch seems logical.
