You'll have to sit through the occasional commercial--and stay tethered to your PC, of course--but that's a small price to pay for watching free movies on demand.

With Hulu's streaming service, you get what you don't pay for. I caught Sideways on it the other day and I could barely make it through. The streaming quality was so poor and pixelated, I felt like I was back in 1998 at the dawn of streaming video watching RealPlayer content. The pop-up ads also tend to slow the framerate, and not to mention the film was heavily edited and all the good moments were missing. I'll give it another try in a few months, but the selection is very limited. It's worth paying for Netflix and using their streaming service - better selection/better quality. Also, note that many of our favorite shows are available on their major network websites, and usually the quality is more favorable as well. ABC and FOX also have shows in streaming HD.

I don't care of Hulu is free. Who the hell wants to watch an edited film when you can just as easily rent it or download it elsewhere for a minimal fee? Why is Hulu editing anyway? How ridiculous.

Poor quality movies, delivered straight to your uncomfortable chair - for free. That's what I call a real bargain.

Buy a better chair, or stream your media from your computer to your TV. Either way, their quality is far and above better than everything else being streamed online.

Can't take it with me, can't watch it on my iPod, can't bring it to a friend's house. Can't enjoy the whole thing. Sure is worth the price.

You get it free and everyone still gripes. I like it, I don't have cable(nor do I want it), but I miss Battlestar Galactica and use them to watch the episodes. It's very nice. If someone gave these people a new car for free they would gripe how it isn't the right color or not fast enough.

Hulu rocks, of course it's not the highest quality video, but many of the newer shows are in 480p and common it's something to do when you don't feel like working.

I watch a lot of web-delivered streaming content on many of the site such as NBC, CBS, adultswim.com, etc. The video streaming from the major networks tends to hog my pc's resources, where as Hulu has a "lighter touch".

One of the things I like about Hulu, is that, even though they tend to show the same commercial over and over in the same show, at least the volume level is reasonable. If anything the commercials are quieter than the shows. Other video content sites have the commercial volume cranked up to an uncomfortable level. If you're watching from across the room, you have to jump up, turn down the volume on your speakers, and then back up when the commercial is over just to hear the show. Pretty annoying...

Sure you can't take it with you on your ipod, but nothing stops you from pulling up Hulu on your friend's computer once you arrive at their house. I also like the fact that I can just copy the URL for an episode and email it to someone.

I like Hulu I almost never sit down to watch anything but am almost always multitasking so it's nice to have something on in the background. I've really only just started using Hulu and really hope they continue adding content. That will determine its success. I'm not really into tv shows online all that much unless I miss an episode of something which I rarely do since I have DVR. Expanding the movie selections would be awesome though.

Tried Hulu, didn't like it. Poor video quality, commercial interruptions, frequent interruptions in the stream, the delay in posting new episodes that the SciFi Channel recently implemented, and inaccessible when I'm travelling abroad. I'd rather pay for the high quality, commercial-free video they previously offered in the iTunes store than put up with the annoyances of watching their low quality, commercial-infested video offerings on Hulu. Too bad NBC bailed on Apple's iTunes customers. They should have their heads examined.

I'm a regular Hulu viewer (though not registered). First movie I watched was "Kagemusha". Wish more non-mainstream flicks were available.

I think Hulu is wonderful. I am especially happy, they are featuring episodes of Another World, from 1991. The picture quality and sound, are all great to me. It is a wonderful service.
